Mining is great if you live in an area with cheap electricity. Iceland has geothermal power so the cost of energy makes it feasible. If you live you live in an area where you're paying $0.22/KWHR (excluding delivery charge), then good luck. The cryptocurrency market has taken a hit so if you were to buy the GPU hardware, it takes so long to break even, besides the fact there's not enough GPU availability goin around.
