The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World is the original version of this ride. It is also the best version in my opinion due to the extra scenes and horizontal movement of the ride vehicle.

I rode this when the power went out in Orlando. All the lights on it went off for a second before Disney’s backup power source kicked in. It was really creepy when all the lights flickered of and on.

That voice lady near the service elevator who’s giving the safety tips that could’ve been Abigail Gracie from that movie.

This ride actually gave a cool little fun fact, the riders got down to the bottom of the shaft, and then the TV appeared showing the people that disappeared. What that means is the elevator isn’t finished unloading passengers downstairs, so guess what the train does. It sends them right back up to the top for an extra 10 seconds of ride time.

I rode this on my honey moon a couple weeks ago & once when I was 8. I screamed bloody murder this second time around once again!!
