A true student wants to learn the best.
Kobe was unafraid to challenge and display what knew and wanted to learn more. Fearless. Michael loved him for that and saw a version of himself in Kobe.

There is a reason Mike cried like a baby at Kobe's celebration of life

The only man that can say that to Mike

Jordan put fear in the players he played against when he was at the top of his game; Kobe was a different breed, he had 0 fear of Jordan, Mike knew this and Mike had mad respect for the Mamba!!!

And to think Kobe Bryant was 18-19 with that mindset and ability to compete at such a high level against arguably the best basketball player of all time. I’m so fortunate enough to have grown up watching Kobe Bryant play and will never forget where i was and the time it was when i heard of his passing. I don’t usually tear up when i hear a celeb pass but man, when he passed i dropped some tears.

As much as I love and respect Kobe, I would've loved to see him go up against '91-'93 Mike, because that was arguably prime Michael Jordan. That was the ultimate Black Jesus
