This scene reminds me of my personal story with my ex-girlfriend when I invited her to my house for Christmas as she had never had one. I will always remember her look in the eye of confusion, uncomfort due to the fact that it was peaceful. As she used to tell me, at her house, it was always about arguing and disputes. Thanks for making me feel relatable as at that point I was not clearly able to read where her confusion was coming from.

One of my favourite scenes. A rare glimpse of joy in an otherwise very sad show! Normal people is my favourite series of all time. Incredible acting, incredible storytelling. I watched it when I first started uni and must’ve finished it in about a day!
