It’s a video documentation of the talk (that took place at ROMANTSO the 22h of December 2015) between Simon Banos, the curator of DeCorbuziers* exhibition, and Panagiotis Tournikiotis, professor at NTUA and the founder of the series of events “Ελ/Le Corbusier” (part of which was this exhibition). Some fragments of “mes compliments/the mourning song” performance that took place at the opening event are also included. The curator and Mr Tournikiotis weaved their narratives in parallel describing the development of their relationship with Corbu throughout their architectural studies and careers. Although an artwork may contains myriad of meanings and signifiers, this is Simon’s interpretation of them, while he chose to raise the volume of each artwork’s certain voices, in order to emphasize his “memoirs of an architect” narrative.

*DeCorbuziers was an alternative pop, neo-goth «memorial» inviting young architects, creative offices, artists and students of art and architecture worldwide to praise, disparage, decompose and criticise the big master through mixed media installations, social media based artworks, performances, and discussions. The "LC-Case" was being opened by the millennium generation with creative and playful attitude. The great master was resurrected via the artworks under new identities, calling for new believers and opening the road for new messiahs.
