I like how Skeledirge is the best in Ubers, Meowscarada is the best in OU, and Quaquaval is the best in UU. They each get their own tier to thrive in.

I hate the fact that Inteleon didn’t get a broken ability like Cinderace and Rillaboom did. Like Rillaboom gets a ability that gives Grass type moves a boost and healing while Cinderace can change its type just by using the move but Inteleon gets an ability that it had to setup for which is stupid since it has practically no bulk at all to uses. Not to mention GameFreak decided to get rid of Focus Energy despite literally being the ONLY way to make use of that ability.

The irony of the Gen 9 segment is that Meowscarada is in danger of dropping to UU while Quaquaval is currently being suspect tested for a UU ban.

For anyone wondering, Hisuian Decidueye is ALSO the worst in PLA- Samurott's Ceaseless Edge chip damage combined with SD and Aqua Jet makes it quite decent, while Typhlosion at least has a fast Quick Attack and strong Fire Blast. Triple Arrows is an absurd move, but it doesn't really have much else going for it.

As someone who has fun with Starters in Doubles, Swampert and Charizard work in a funny way thanks to their typing and movepool. I have Charizard use Fly when Surf is used and Heat Wave when Earthquake is used. Use Pledge moves, and a fourth move for coverage. It's all so silly and fun.
