I have a 2015 Porsche Macan S, bought new almost 10 years ago. The manufacturing quality of the vehicle is excellent, and the driving experience is very satisfying. I am now getting near to when major components will need replacing, not just maintaining. I am ok with that, as Zack says, the most economical vehicle you can own is the one you currently have. I do not want to spend $110, 000 CDN for a new Macan S, and I don't want to buy a cheaper new vehicle. I will just keep my Macan S for maybe another 10 years, and replace parts, and maintain the car. No need for a new vehicle. As I am approaching 70, this car will probably see me out to the end of my driving tenure. Love your show.

When I saw Andrea slide into the Toyota Crown Signia to get the scoop for her viewers, I knew I could not buy my next vehicle without you alls perspective. I’m in the market for a Small to medium SUV. Waiting to see if the RDX is finally redesigned inside. Maybe a hybrid but I buy for long term, 10 to 13 years. Thank you for translating for USA specs. Great channel.

That's what Consumer Reports is, feedback from consumers. I get those annual surveys regarding our vehicles and yes, Zack, it also includes other things like lawn mower, dishwasher, humidifier and so on.

Sorry to hear about your dog😢. If you go to North Territory in Australia, then you may review exotic Mitsubishis, that are not present in North Amerca. Also no kangaroos there and crocodiles are on the beach😅. Love your show!

electromagnetic rust prevention does not work unless the metal is submerged in a conducting material. I have actually removed a unit with rust right at the points where it was connected to the body of the car. I use Penetroil from Ziebart and have it reapplied annually, and so far so good

Would go with a pickup for towing. Like the pickup bed for extra storage or room for bikes etc.

Just rode the Wrangler as a rental, and I simply don't understand why anyone would buy it, it drives like a boat.

6000 lbs minus weight of driver and any passagers and minus weight of gear being carried in vehicle or in the trailer. Not sure if the fuel in the vehicle should also be counted. Anyway my point is the towing capacity will not be 6000 pounds.

I love that you loved your dog so well. I’m the same way. I once won a 10 day trip to Hawaii but I scheduled to only be away for a week. The things we do for our four-legged family members.

Whenever i see the question forester vs outback i will say that i would have bought a forester if it had the turbo. The visibility on a forester is a bit better and you sit a little higher in the seat vs the outback. But driving the non turbo is like driving a lawn mower. The turbo is just smoother and more fun to drive.

Hopefully when they bring the hybrid coming to forester next year it will get a bit of an hp bump and make it a better drive.

Forester vs Outback: I own a Forester and my Dad owns an Outback, which I’ve driven a lot. Visibility out of Forester is a bit better. Parking is easier in Forester. Outback can haul long items better. Outback tows much better. Both comfortable. Mileage is pretty similar. Easier to get in and out of Forester.

Jeep is on the ropes. From WSJ Aug 4th: "Factories temporarily stopped producing the Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee sport-utility vehicles in the past week, people familiar with the matter said. Those models were among Jeep’s bestsellers through the first half of the year.".
