Laura, your video here was the first I found that truly explained HOW to dive into these tools as well as understanding where data lives. My company is trying to merge product data to a cloud system and some departments are quite set in their ways: update and upload separate Excel sheets to lonely document libraries, in separate sites on SharePoint. Your explanation on manipulating the entities within Excel while keeping the database structure is just the thing I needed to convince our departments that there's a better way, without needing to learn an entirely new platform. This was the "aha" moment I needed after days of frustrating searching for answers. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hi Laura. Great Video and the cool thing is, I have been learning about PowerApps(and all your video's) for a few months and it's all starting to come together. CDS, PowerApps, and FLOW. Thanks again

Dear Laura,
Really good video. I'm new in all this office 365, Sharepoint, etc...
I started creating Sharepoint Lists of the Data I want to share/collaborate with my colleages, but rapidly I saw the limitations of that tool (in terms of database). So, I research and I found the CDM.
My question is, how can I use the data I already have in sharepointlist in PowerApps. Or how can I migrate it... Or can the data be sychronised between Sharepoint and CDM?
Regards,
Juan

Dear Laura, thanks for the PowerHour re Common Data Service, it brings hope to me build cloud DB for my company I want. Just to be sure I've understood right, to be able to input/output data into/fm DB we need to build PowerApp as Interface of DB for end users, right? And is there some kind of data scheme as in Access or list of entities is the only way I can see structure of DB?

The Common Data Service is the backbone of 365 most importantly Dynamics 365.
So Purchase Order, Opportunity etc are surfaced in CRM and Dynamics Operations, Dynamics Financials
A unified data store
