Meet Forrest - My take on a Festive blanket!

For a while now I’ve wanted to knit a Christmas blanket, but didn’t want it to be something that screamed Christmas so strongly that it just wouldn’t appeal to someone who happened to stumble across the pattern during the other months of the year.

This pattern is darling. Thank you for always giving me ideas to elevate my knitting with simple knit and purl stitches. ❤

I love the subtlety of the pattern. I can imagine it made in any color someone loves to knit.

Hi Laurelin.
Absolutely beautiful new design. I love your baby blankets. They are really so well-designed. Modern mothers like pragmatic and simple things for babies, compared to what was made 50 years ago when I was a young mother.
I love your use of multi coloured yarn too.
I made a "rainbow" blanket for mu grandson 13 years ago. He still uses that blanket when he watches TV. 😂

How delightful to see a UK knitter using Continental technique and the Norwegian purl!

I know that you didn't want this blanket to be overly christmassy but I will knit this in shades of red and green
