As a former musician in the Army the drill instructor said "Always sanitize your Organ" I said "Yes Sir!!" But was confused since I played Bass

SourcePoint 8 may also be a good choice for those of us who mill about our rooms doing tasks while music is playing. It’s a bummer if the frequency response is only agreeable with one’s head mounted strictly in a vice at the optimal position.

I like the look of the old folded surrounds and always have enjoyed the sound of paper cones.

Important point in listening first, measuring after to rule out bias. I think it's quite fun writing down what I think I hear and correlate my notes to the measurements for learning purposes. The other way around you are bound to listen for the things you have seen in your measurements.

What a coincidence! I was at a big Arts Festival the other day, and there was a painting on display of a dung beetle. He was standing upright, dressed in a black leather jacket with chains, like some hoodlum from a dark alley, and he had a switchblade knife pulled out & open in his right hand, and the caption read "Give me your sh*t." I once had a pet dung beetle. They like cow dung the best, but they will feast on human waste if nothing else is available. Like if the potato chips run out and all that's left are rice cakes. He was good friends with my pet stink bug. He never did his stink spray thing even once. I might have given him more credit than he deserves though, as after he passed on, I read where only some stink bugs can spray you with stink spray. Stink bugs stick to apples; they love them, they don't go for anything more earthy. They value their piece of apple so much, that if you drop a stink bug from a height, they will continue clinging onto their cherished piece of apple, instead of letting it go to increase the chance of a safe landing. Stink bugs get a bad rap. Stink bugs make good pets and are not a pest, even though they're classified as a pest. Your cat must have said a bad swear word for you to call it a dirty pussy. Didn't it like the Mofi? When I was a toddler I started saying bad swear words. No one knew what to do to get me to stop. I enjoyed MB y cussing like a stink bug enjoyed apple. What finally worked and got me to stop? They had a relative tell me " If you don't stop swearing, we are going to have to drop you in the lake."

It's good to know that the Mofi speaker doesn't stink. They also make turntables and cartridges I think. If they manufacture or begin manufacturing amplifiers; someone could say they are playing a true complete Mofi system, from the speakers all the way down to the cartridge and even the lp. That might be a FIRST in audio.

In a Youtube interview, a Mofi company guy said that their digital recorder that they copy master tapes with, has a sampling rate of over 100 million times per second.
I figured this one out mathematically. That's way more than the number of times a helicopter's blades rotate in a trip from L.A. to New York. And in one second!

No other audio review gets close to this.
None of them.

Obviously a different class but one reason I keep a pair of kef q100 by my tv is that it’s great for everyone on the sofa, not just whoever is dead centre.

We have to get more reviews out of you, Clockwork Burnt Orange, your guidelines for reviewing a product are the best around. All I see everywhere...MEASURENTS MEASUREMENTS MEASUREMENTS!! Would love to hear more reviews, personally, of Amps, Pre's, DACs, tone controls at the $500 to $1000 zone give or take. What is your favorite tube amp? Do you even like them? etc.... Have a great day.

When I want to raise the height of my floor standers, I use bricks and a pile of old stereophile magazines. Works a treat. For more audiophile tips and tricks stay tuned 😂

What's wrong with drilling holes into speaker cabinets' bottoms? 🤓

Your vids are supercilious, your tone is sanctimonious, and your conclusions are blasphemous, Keep up the good work.

Great review, SA. Fun and informative, as always. I considered the MoFi 10s when changing my main speakers recently, but the industrial looking design and relative lack of sensitivity (for my needs) put me off.

Was at THE SHOW in n Costa Mesa. Andrew Jones gave history of most of his prior designs and inspirations. He did confirm that speakers like sourcepoint 8 should be toed in or out about ten degrees

I got to heat the Source Point 10s at a demo hosted by Andrew Jones. They're the best concentric speakers I heard and the 10s give you more low bass then the 8s of course. I know alot about music history but I guess I need to watch that documentary about The Dung Beatles. I think I heard something about some lady, Ohno Yoko ruining the band

They’re the Bruce Jenner of speakers! 🔊 😅

Which did you prefer, the SourcePoint 8 or Acoustic Energy ae 320? 🙂

Concentric needs toe in because the soundstage falls apart straight forward, but right at you is too intense. Point them left and right of you shoulders as a thumb rule and experiment from there. I have some Tannoy 637 that could use an upgrade to the crossover parts.
