All you need to connect them is string (such as a gift wrapping string) and a needle or stick to thread the string through the hinges formed at the edges of the squares. Stunning bags and baskets woven out of coffee bags are unique, practical and durable. And of course a great way to recycle used coffee bags!

For the weaving you need:
- empty coffee bags (16 bags)
- paper or cardboard
- a pen
- scissors
- clothespins or other clips
- durable wooden sticks or knitting needles

To join woven pieces, you need:
- string (e.g. gift wrapping string)
- a needle
- scissors

The size of the template is 15,2 cm x 6,8 cm.

Size of the basket:
Height 10,5 cm
Base 10,5 x 21 cm

You need 48 strips which is 16 coffee bags.
