We go over how to calculate the mean of grouped data sets using the assumed mean method. This method to calculate the mean requires us to guess the mean of the grouped data, which we can do by picking the midpoint of a central interval (or the common endpoint of two central intervals). We then "correct" this assumed mean using frequencies and deviations, all laid out in a table. #Class10 #Statistics

Please what if the number of classes was not an odd number how will you get the assumed mean? The number of classes in the question you solved was 5 but how will you get the assumed mean if it was six please.
