Food insecurity? They are literally being systematically starved.

No, this war did not start on Oct 7th. It started in 1947/1948 when Israeli terrorists invaded Palestinian lands. And it continued in 1967 when Israel invaded the remaining Palestinian lands. And it has continued ever since, when Israel continued to confiscate more Palestinian land and expel its Palestinian owners.

Let’s see what that “concern” translates to.

Despite partisan trolls, I find Kamala's speech balanced & strong. Empathy for both sides, and a powerful intent for Peace.

At least she is saying what no other high-ranking American politician would say.

Actual "serious concern" would mean stopping providing the bombs to them in the first place.

This gives me some hope that morality will prevail again, but I'd feel better if she'd just call a spade a spade and say Starvation and Genocide out loud.

Considering Jewish people and Israel the same entity is what’s antisemitic. Israel is a country like any other, with a far right government. We MUST make it point blank fullstop CLEAR that any critique of Israel is of a country. Has zero to do with Judaism or Jewish individuals. People are afraid to call out Israel out of fear of being seen as antisemitic. Calling out Netanyahu’s genocide isn’t antisemitism.

Please, don't be silent about terrorism either! If Israel is a criminal then so are we.

Was she silent when over 40, 000 Palestinian civilians were being killed? Did she agree with the "ironclad support" the State department and AIPAC were saying over and over again.

Why is Israel needs always met first. What about Palestine hostages

"Acknowledge the nuance, complexity, and history of the region"

Maybe Harris should have mentioned the Nakba, the causes of the various Intifadas, the negative effects of the Oslo Accords on Palestinians that led to the strengthening of Hamas, the illegal settlements in the West Bank, or any of the legitimate historical reasons why Palestinians might not like Israelis in her address. But I guess you only have so much time, and you have to make the folks at AIPAC happy if you want their support. If this is the strongest criticism of Israel that moderate Democrats can muster, I doubt we'll see permanent peace in the Middle East anytime soon.

The Hamas leader was assassinated yesterday…all that talk about a cease fire led to a possible escalation for a bigger war. 🤦🏻
