If the next in line is a thoughtful, decent sympathetic individual, that does a lot of good work and is worthy of respect, has had a lifetime preparing for the role and the country needs a figure head, I would take the monarchy over say… President Johnson, Truss, Sunach, Stalmer, Farage, Sturgeon or Tice any day.

The country then has the upsides of a strong figurehead that is constant throughout our lives and known around the world, without the downsides of having an egotistical megalomaniac dictator in charge.
