Is This REALLY The Best Czech Food??

On my way back from a trip. Got hungry so I stopped of in a village pub in Czech Republic (Hostinec Skokan) to have a meal. The food was really good. It was not in my plans to stop of at this little pub in the village, overall it turned out to be a quick enjoyable meal then I was back on my journey.

That guy in the orange shirt is my spirit animal. He doesnt hate you, he doesnt wanna start a fight, he has no idea his staring is being rude - the guy is just stuck at "A black guy walks into bar and orders Slivovici", waiting for the second part of the joke. He probably saw black guy only in TV.

This meal looked well cooked, in my opinion boiled potatoes go better with fried meat than french fries, because it makes the heavy oily meal bit lighter. No big cooking, but it is a reliable choice in unknown pubs.

team řízek. I cannot wait to bite into one with the homemade potato salad soon as Christmas is at the door. I always have some carp for tradition and good measure and then when all the stuff around the presents is done I disappear into the kitchen and eat a plate full of salad and řízek. Also, you have an excellent pronunciation of the letter 'ř'.
