Discipleship 101: DISCIPLES ARE LEARNERS (Part 3)

In part three of Discipleship 101, we focus on the first role of a disciple to be a learner. We are called to learn from Jesus so that we can become like him.

The first role of a disciple is to be a learner. Albert Einstein stated, " when you stop learning, you start dying." We think this is true, especially in the spiritual realm. The day you think you got Jesus figured out and stop trying to learn about and from Him is the day you stop growing spiritually. The same can be said about making disciples for Jesus. The day you think you know everything there is about making disciples is the day you stop making disciples for Jesus. This is why the first role of a disciple is to be a learner. Our next video will be on the second role of a disciple is a follower.

When you’re whole worldview is “discipleship” you end up thinking people can’t actually walk by the Spirit, because you think they need to learn from a man rather than be guided by the Spirit.
