I Grew a Giant Pumpkin | What am I Going to Do with it Now?

That's one of those videos that I call "unexpected". The unexpected always happens and I feel slightly excited before every season because this unexpected turns out to be pleasant in most of the cases.
This year I accepted the irony of nature in the form of a lovely pumpkin. Well, should I wish for a watermemlon or melon of the same size?

For the size of that pumpkin, not much flesh is available, so hope you like Pumpkin Soups and flesh made into Pumpkin Pies that can store for months to come? And then as you stated, the seeds, next years crop in the making, planted two per pot and whichever is the strongest, gets layered up and the other discarded. Cheers Kat for sharing as usual.

I'm always blown away by your videos! I like roasting pumpkin seeds with butter and salt. I usually throw the rest of the pumpkin in the compost heap. Thanks for inviting us into your country home very interesting, we're you drying your pumpkin pieces out on a "Russian Oven" ? Beautiful plot of land you have.

Thank you Katsia. My grandma pickled pumpkins like gherkins. Though a little sweeter and with vanilla. But with +50 kg's it will give you more than 100 grams of pickled pumpkin pr. day for a full year! Looking forward to next seasons endeavours.
