had tried to apply the codes but this is the display in my serial monitor : Temperature: nan C Humidity: nan %.. what do you think is the problem?..is my sensor already defective?..

i got the NAN code to
but my temp and humidity sensor got very very very hot

the DHT11 sensor is junk. I hooked it up and for the first 4 hours is read temperature and humidity pretty accurate although it did drift a bit. I went to bed and left it run. When i came back the next morning the temperature was still accurate but humidity is a constant 95% and will not change no matter what you do. I find this completely unacceptable. This sensor was running at 5.082 volts which is in its range of 3.3 - 5.5 volts. If it wont run for a day what good is it?
