Have you thought about doing printable kits? It is almost all of what I purchase now and because the shop has almost no overhead beyond the Etsy fees and the design they are able to offer the kits at pretty low cost, so it's a win-win.

You can create an excel spreadsheet with all of the subscription people’s info and import it into pirate ship. It can auto generate labels for you, I’m sure you can find some videos about it on here. 😊

Thank goodness your home is big enough to move the business back in if necessary. If Jason gets a job, being able to operate from home may help out when the kids are out of school/sick/etc. I assume that your office rent takes a great deal of profits. If you moved the business home just until the economy recovers you may save yourself a lot of stress. Besides the new budget planner, this time of year most of us are getting nice little tax returns. I am spending a little extra money just this month because of the return. But next month the mad money goes straight to savings.

I also read a comment about being able to download kits to our home. I have downloaded specialized stickers for creating greeting cards and cut the stickers out myself. Getting instant gratification has a lot of appeal. But I only purchase items that allow me to make straight cuts on my cutting mat. Your budget headers and Washi stickers would be excellent self-print items. Just a thought. Be well.

Have you considered a quarterly mystery subscription. If ETSY lets you print a shipping label a few times then you could do the subscription quarterly.

I've been using your stickers for years to keep on track with my budgeting (I have to make it fun or I get off track). I cannot wait to see the stickers that will go with your budget planner. I think you can also write off your mortgage if you move the business to your home for a bit. Help you save on the rent there but also the gas. I know this decision may feel like a blow, but, hopefully it all works out (I need your stickers) 🥰

I definitely hope you reconsider with the mystery box annual sub! Id love to be able to do that next year! And, Im glad that you continued to try with Pirate Ship. I definitely think that the worst is behind you since you manually input all of those this month. Next month, you'll just search the name and all of the info will populate for you. It is unfortunate that the tracking info didnt transfer over to Etsy, as you may have guessed- it does actually give them the updated tracking etc if you can "Import from Etsy" as with new orders. Its too bad it didnt make a difference with shipping cost too. I definitely notice a difference, but maybe thats because I sell large items. I like that using Pirate ship gives me the option of going with UPS etc as an alternative if their rates are lower at that time. Also, doesnt Etsy charge an additional fee if you're using their shipping? I only did it for a short period of time so I dont remember. But that was another pro for me to use Pirate Ship instead. I know you like to make sure everyone gets the mystery kits if they want them, but there are a lot of stores that only do xxx number and when they are gone, they are gone, just a thought for now. It is crazy how everything changed so much in 2 years, hopefully things have settled and start to improve for all of us.

Seems like next year you may be able to import the first January yearly subscription orders and just have them categorized as “yearly subscription” and then you can go back and select all those customers and then reprint each month. (?) 🤷‍♀️ So this year, it’s a pain, but next year it’ll be easier. Also, for this year, can you export a report from Etsy into a spreadsheet of all the yearly subscription orders from January and then upload that into pirateship? Hope it helps.

I use pirate ship for my labels. It isn’t cheaper Etsy vs pirate ship, but I get the benefit of credit card rewards paying with my card. I only buy about 500 a month in shipping, but that’s still a decent amount in rewards over the year that I can use for whatever I want.

Im watching this late but I was thinking just as a suggestion...You're talking about Subscriptions for your kits and shipping them monthly...idk if I have it right but what if you have the annual subscription products available for the full year where as you won't have to ship monthly and do all the label printing and all. Just a thought. Like an Annual Kit. 🤔🙂

Although I would be sad if you didn’t offer the mystery kit subscription next year, I understand and it wouldn’t keep me from ordering it each month like I have in the past. I’ve told you this before, but I only order stickers from you and now that I am getting my budget planner for next year from you, too, that’s one less thing I need to order from someone else! I’m excited to see the new sticker storage and I’m hoping you are able to continue your business for a long time, because I plan to be a customer of yours for a long time 😁 I would love it if you offered bigger notepads, like the small one that you have now, just an idea 😊

Can you export a customer address list by a specific order then upload to pirate shipping. That should speed up the address label process. You would still have to enter the shipping number into Etsy.

I bought a ton of stickers and have enough to last through 2024. So I now am very picky about what I am ordering.
