I too thought the back wraparound pocket was something I absolutely needed and do prefer the softer leather but your points against are extremely valid. If only I could afford both! Thanks so much. Very helpful; thank you! I was gifted an Amica, and I like it very much. But for some reason, I always thought I'd prefer the Compagna! Watching this, I think I actually like the Amica better. I like the foamy structure to it, too. And the width feels just right...roomy but not bulky.

Love your comparison and I was extremely sold on the Amica up until you mentioned that there was not a back pocket....I have the pocket Compagna and enjoy being able to fold full size paper and hide it in the back pocket. The medium Compagna back pocket would of course be much roomier for full size sheets. Thank you so much for sharing that very thorough review.
