How to Make Big Text in Discord - Bigger Text Trick

In this video I show you how to make big text in Discord. There are four types of big text you can use in Discord. The three main options are text headings. You can make text big by putting a # at the start of the line, followed by a space then the text you want to be big. With one # you will get the heading 1 text which is the really big text option. You can also get smaller headings in Discord by using either 2 or 3 hashtags instead. With 2 hashtags your Discord text will appear fairly large and use the heading 2 text format. With 3 hashtags the text will be similar to the bold text and use the heading 3 text format.

A disadvantage to using the big text in Discord is that all the text on the line will be made big. Unlike bold text which controls specific words on the line, or multiple words of your choosing.

The big Discord text trick can be used with embedded messages as well, and is a good option if you want to write up formal message in your server. With the addition of the 3 heading sizes, you can accurately format a server message to make long message easier to read through.

The text will only appear big in Discord when the message has been sent, preventing you from being able to type in big text directly. However this isn't needed as people viewing the messages will be able to see the larger text.

To bold text on Discord you can enclose the text you want to make big with double asterisks. This means you will need to have 2 asterisks on either side. When this is done all the text between the asterisks will be made bold.
