I couldn't help myself. I started building and will do a full build series. Part 1 will go up within the next 24-48 hours. Sub to my channel for updates to see all the videos. Thanks Richie

I was able to buy this in the US on 02/17/22 for $107. Still a lot of money for a 1/48 kit, but a bit more reasonable than the prices you gave.

I enjoyed your review, Richie! I've got the Hasegawa kit and agree that the raised detail is rather heavy. I picked up the Academy kit recently for $60, and it's a much nicer kit. It also comes with two clear sprues (one yellow tinted and one clear), lots of bombs and missiles, as well as Cartograph decals. Doesn't look like the I Love Kit model is a big improvement, and the price tag is far too high for what's included.

I'll pass and build the Hasegawa kit again. Thanks for the review.

Great review, as always! I appreciate that although you were excited to be the first to review, you still gave an honest review. I can’t say your review made me not buy it, the price would do that alone. I think this reinforced my desire to not buy it seeing it not worth the money. Kind of why I have not bought the recent V-22 as well.

Strange pricing in the Trumpeter/Hobbyboss world at late..The new Hind-E is £80..F-18 £50 odd(but you get a lot)..Maybe they are releasing models through ‘I ❤️ kits’, to be a different price range of kits..So more ‘I ❤️ more for our kits’..I can’t see this doing trumpetboss any favors, long term..
I like the way the I ❤️ cash F-22 looks and I hope she builds ok..But for nearly a ton.?For that sort of money, , resin or 3d parts and good P/E should be included..I’ll slug on with my Italeri F-22..Has it’s faults but it cost me review and video from you on the ‘I ❤️ not much about this kit’.!.The best from Blighty🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

I'd expect at least some PE for the Cockpit at that price point.
Thanks for the review Richie.

I'd double check the decals for typos. I got a Hobby Boss A-10 Thunderbolt II, and wanted to do the Indiana National Guard livery, but the decal says "Indana". 😫

Great review. Bit pricey for me. But it’s a nice subject though. At that price US, I would expect photo etch and probably some resin parts.
They’re getting into the Tamiya price range.

In curious to see a build review and seeing how you try to achieve the distinctive F-22 semi reflective paint sheen

The UK pricing is... interesting. Where I live, this kit is available for about 80 bucks.

Very interesting your review. I wasn't able to get the details before release, I understand that it is expensive compared to the content.
Nearly double the price of out of stock ACADEMY kit, Um…

Lovely kit and build. Im looking to get the kit and wondering if when following the painting instructions you used Mr Color H paints or C paints as I'm not sure how either of them mix with the Super Metallic II paint

This is 1/32 scale Tamiya territory for that price! Crazy that the parts and quality is not there.

You might want to check why the distributor in UK marked it up so high. You can get it in Asia for less than 80 dollars.

it must be difficult to capture the raised detail on video, not your fault but from what im seeing on screen it looks just like the hasegawa kit, although i'll take your word for it that it's better. i'd still like to get this kit to compare them both side by side. the one piece intake entrance is a nice touch though. cheers for the review!

I wish they could scale it up to 1:32. There is still no Raptor 32nd scale :(
When it comes to pricing of this kit, I was also shocked after seeing release prices of about 110 EUR, now it's only about 70-80. Strange pricing policy of HB, TRU, ILK.
