Really impressed with how well Kelenic has stepped into the lead off spot so far. That had been a big question mark for the Braves since Ronald went down but I do believe we've found the answer.

That's probably the cleanest inning I've seen Iglesias have since he's been a Brave, that's how you save a game, Go Braves!

Placing Kelenic at leadoff was singlehandedly the best move from snitker this year

The Yankees announcer called the Braves offense mid and then the next batter Kelenic hit a home run, we won the game, and the series. Watch your words. Braves are heating up chop on!

A much needed series win! Seems like they're finding their rhythm again.

Great win, kudos to Max, Kelenic, Ozzie and the BP. GO

8:33 Soto standing there taking strike three because he assumed the ump gave him time...that was funny to watch. It's good to see the Braves winning again especially in New York.

Good win today for the Braves and great game for Max too

8:33 I love that they include Ben Ingram's calls in these. Perfect - "Technically looking, even though he wasn't looking." 🤣😂

Just wanted to let you guys know that I survived being an away fan at Yankee Stadium yesterday and got to watch a W with some mixed in Braves fans around the 3rd base side 🔥

I’ve been saying for a while I thought Kelenic had a lot of potential he just needed to get steady playing time. He’s not Acuña but he’s definitely been a pleasant surprise at the lead off spot!

Yea! It is always nice when you win a series against the Yam Dankies.

Well this “mid” offense just won the series in the little league park in the Bronx

Notes from the Game:
+ MAXIMUS FRIED with a GREAT Performance Today! 6 Innings of 1-Run, 6-Hit Ball, Walking NONE and Striking out 4 en route to Victory! Fried improves to 7-3 with an ERA of 3.00! Another NEEDED Result from MAXMIMUS!
+ Bullpen once again TOOK CARE OF THE REST! Johnson, Jimenez, and Iglesias combine to FINISH the Final 3 Innings, allowing just 1 Hit while Striking Out 5. Rasiel Iglesias gets his 20th Save, Pitching a PERFECT 9TH while Striking Out Two!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 1 Run, 7 Hits, NO Walks, 9 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed!

1-2 with Runners in Scoring Position, and 4 Total Men left on Base. It was a Tough Day, but the Braves' Offense made it work!
+ JARRED KELENIC SHOWING OUT FROM THE LEADOFF SPOT! 1-3 with a SOLO SUPER MISSILE and RBI Sacrifice Fly! Kelenic stands firm with a .270 Average, .757 OPS, and 7 Home Runs on the Season!
+ THE OZ-MAN WITH THE GAME-DECISIVE HIT! 1-4 with an RBI Single in the 5th! Albies holds firm with a .262 Average with an OPS of .733!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Marcell Ozuna had a 2-4 Day, while Laureano and Arcia had 1 Hit Each. NEITHER Team Recorded a Walk, though Sean Murphy did record getting WHACKED-BY-A-PITCH in the 2nd, Meaning Riley, Duvall, and Olson had 0'fer Days, going a Combined 0-12 with 3 Ks.

+ THE BRAVES WIN THE SERIES AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN THE MAJORS! Fried was GREAT, the Bullpen continues to IMPRESS, the Defense was SOLID, and the Offense Made the Most of their Few Scoring Opportunities Today! ONWARD TO ST. LOUIS!
- Unfortunately, the Phillies WON their Series against the Diamondbacks, exacting REVENGANCE for the NLCS Last Year. This Keeps the Braves at 7 Games Behind the Phils for the Division Lead.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The Yankees will travel a short ways down I-87 and I-278 to Queens to Battle their Little Little Brothers in Queens: The Mets! David Peterson will get the Call for the Mets, who has WON Three Straight Outings, including his most recent one against the Defending WS Champion Rangers, in which he allowed 2 Runs on 4 Hits in 6 Innings of Work.

Meanwhile, Gerrit Cole will take the rubber for the Yanks, who is making only his 2nd Start of the Season after going 4 Innings and Allowing 2 Runs on 3 Hits in a No Decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.

Can Cole and the Yankees regain Traction and Start the Series in Queens with a NEEDED Win?
Or will Peterson, The Mets, and their Grimacing DELUSION Continue to get EVER BIGGER?
We will find out Tuesday Night at 7:10 P.M. EDT on SNY (Mets), YES (Yankees), and... TBS (Out-Of-Market ONLY)?!

The St. Louis Cardinals...
Gotta Admit, for a Team that FELL OFF A CLIFF Last Year... They're actually looking decent!
Sure, the NL Central is a TOTAL MESS, but sometimes just keeping your head above the water might give you the momentum you need later on.
They've Got a Respectable Pitching Staff, and the Offense can be surprisingly potent if you're not careful.
So Let's see what these Birds have in stock!
It's the St. Louis Cardinals... AND YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES!

ROUND 1 OF 3 Between the NL Foes will take place under the Evening Skies of Busch Stadium. Lance Lynn will take the mound for the Red Birds, who's had an Odd June so far, Having No Wins OR Losses, and only going 5+ Innings in his last start, a 5 1/3 Inning Outing where he allowed 6 Runs (5 Earned) on 10 Hits, which included 2 Home Runs against the Fish.

Meanwhile, SPENCER SCHWELLENBACH will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, who pitched IMPRESSIVELY against the Tigers, allowing just 1 Run on 3 Hits in 6 Innings of Work, earning his FIRST MAJOR LEAGUE WIN in the Process!

Can SCHWELLENBACH and the Braves start a New Winning Streak with an Opening Series WIN against the Cards?
Or will Lynn and the Red Birds have a Plan in mind for the Tomahawk Chop?
We will find out at 7:45 P.M. EDT / 6:45 P.M. CDT on Bally Sports Midwest (Cardinals), Bally Sports South (Braves), and MLB Network (Out-Of-Market ONLY)!

Good win for the braves. Michael Harris would have caught that deep fly, but kelenic’s bat has come alive.
