NEW 3DS Rainbow Road Shortcut is Faster?!

Reminds me of the Big Blue shortcut, found this on accident. Might be useless but interesting! Just when we thought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe booster course pass wave 3 DLC didn't have any cool shortcuts...

So after some rigged testing I can conclude that this cut takes roughly ~11-12s to execute but since you also used two mushrooms it's not viable for time trialing, as the current strat of regularly driving is about the same time but doesn't use any mushrooms.

If the top 10 time trail times don't show this shortcut within the next few weeks, most likely it isn't the fastest option

In time trial mode, I've figured out the best places to use the mushrooms in this track on 3ds. One of the is partially flying over the ringed planet instead of just landing on the rings, and another is flying over the gap when the track takes a nearly 90 degree left turn at one point. The third one I just used in a straight stretch, but might work great here, unless this requires using more than 1 mushrooms.
