I've never seen this show but every scene I happen to stumble upon has me 100% convinced this show takes place in the Final Destination universe because I swear LA is trying to kill everyone in this damn show

Fun facts: Tsunamis can move at over 500 miles per hour. Also, what separates a tsunami and a massive wave is not just that it’s tall. A regular wave or even a rogue wave is usually from wind and the very surface of the water Column, a tsunami is the entirety of the depth of the ocean moving at 500 mph. That’s why In real life they don’t tend to look like huge waves unless they’re REALLY big. Thousands of feet moving toward you at 500mph, then it hits the beach it’s like that water going up a ramp. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY would’ve survived that.

I remember when this series began. The day of release, I watched the premiere and I remember that 80% of the episode had me on the edge of my seat. Every time they bring in a natural disaster, I started to shake out of fear. When it got to the tsunami, words could not describe how I felt at that moment. This show does such a fantastic job displaying what occurs in these situations. And I'm still watching it to this point

I literally screamed at the end of 3x01 because I KNEW something was wrong but I never expected a Tsunami (though I should have, it is LA after all), and seeing all the water suddenly gone made my stomach drop. I was watching with my dad at the time and we just kinda looked at each other like "oh they went there". Chris and Buck fighting to get back to each other and comforting each other the whole arc... We know Buck takes Chris to the zoo a lot in later seasons and I can;t help but think Buck would never want to take him to a pier again...

This scene didn’t make sense cause if the wave was that big why did they wait last second to even start running and everyone should know if the water is getting sucked back you run inland

This annoyed me merely because after the tsunami episode, it was like everything was back to normal. Nothing was ever mentioned or shown again

Makes you wonder how truly terrifying it must’ve been for residents of Tohoku when the Tsunami came ashore near Fukushima in 2011.
