I tell the story of my closest call with death to date...about the time I thought I rubbed Sea Snake venom in my eyes, while on a shoot in Western Australia.

So honourable to mention “it wasn’t the animals fault” Forrest understands the task at hand, and the risks associated with it fully, massive respect :)

That was intense! I was beginning to think you had died.

I swear, EVERYTIME you're close to death, mitch is ALWAYS there, lol. The lighting striking, the rhino charing, the bear charging, and now this lol. Mitch is either a very bad luck charm or a very good luck charm, lol.

And from that day forward, Mitch learned never to argue with Forrest. Or so Forrest wishes 😂

Anxiety can make you feel like you're dying.

I was convinced I had bowl cancer. Had a palpable lump in my abdomen, sever pain, nausea, and constipation.
Retired to my studio and resigned to my own demise I laid down expecting a bright lute and the hand of christ.
I awoke several hours later and experienced the most productive bowel release I've ever had or even heard of.
All better now.

Thank God you're ok! When we lost Steve Irwin, I bawled my eyes out after seeing his death announced on a tv in a gas station when i was coming home from vacation as an 11 year old.
Thank you for everything you do for these animals and everything you do to educate people about wildlife in general! I couldn't imagine being in your shoes that day!

A school friend moved to Aus and unfortunately got bit by one of these on a fishing boat while working. Honestly such a nice, funny, harmless bloke. One minute you’re here, the next you’re gone.

Be careful and be kind it’s a scary world out there.

Man you would be hurting a lot of people if something would happen to you. You just never know how easy it can be making a mistake that could cause you your life. So glad you’re still here and healthy and thank you for sharing your stories.

That snake he was holding was like " yo Forrest, enough with all the arm movements . I'm getting motion sickness buddy" 😂

That story is wild. I can't imagine the fear you must've felt out there. I also can't imagine the amount of joy you felt when you woke up the next morning.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I mean it’s obvious you lived! But the “how” was thrilling! MORE stories like this, please Forrest!

Something similar happened to me once where I thought I had accidentally drank paint thinner. I used to reuse Gatorade bottles for water and I took a big swig and all I tasted was paint thinner. I thought someone had replaced the water to use the bottle. I tried so hard to vomit but I couldn’t. Turned out it was water. When I took a drink, I inhaled through my nose right in front of an open can of paint thinner and got all the fumes. I’m still paranoid to this day of solvents and chemicals.
Glad you’re still with us Forrest!

I had a similar moment when I thought I may have accidentally rubbed my hands on a Poison Hemlock plant and smoked a cigarette. I got several symptoms of being poisoned and started to call everyone that I loved and told them everything I wanted to tell them preparing to die. I called my best friend and told him what happened. I said if I don't call within the next 4 hours call someone.
