Re: Zero is one of the most interesting isekai anime that has come out in the past few years. The story revolves around Natsuki Subaru being transported from Earth to a new world and he is granted one simple power: "Return By Death". Subaru must use this newfound power to save those he cares about, such as Emilia, Rem, Ram, Petra, Otto and Garfiel and more.

Who is Satella and why did she grant subaru this power? What is the motivation behind the witch cult which have members such as Petelguese the sin archbishop of sloth? These are some of the questions I'll tackle on this channel, I hope you enjoy it and most importantly also enjoy season 1 and season 2 of Re: zero and hopefully it does well enough to warrant a third season covering arc 5 (Season 3 re: zero).

It could also be her interactions with Subaru that causes her to like him.
- She could like her current self better than before.
- She could like the fact she has a body now and contribute it to Subaru.
- She could have woken up in the tower and noticed how Subaru saved her from Envy.
- She could consider Subaru to be one of her only lifelines, and be deathly afraid of angering him in such a way that he might abandon her in another loop.

Petelguese being a Sin archbishop had nothing to do with his ability to posses others, as we know he could do the same thing well before ever consuming the sloth witch factor.
This is stated in the Q&A’s when talking about Guese’s and Fortuna’s relationship, about how Fortuna loved him even when he had a female body, since the soul was what mattered to her.

To be fair, we don’t actually know if Rui bleeding means she’s a human. There are any number of options other than being a spirit.

My theory is gluttony will exist as triplets. Do if one of three died, Louise got divided into two to make new triplets of gluttony. Remember great mabeast are also triplets. So maybe Louise now we are seeing is new born gluttony who only knows Subaru because of hall Louise. So technically arc 7 Louise is not sin archbishop or just Louise and the WF part is still inside hall of memories. And about how tappei is going to redeem her, maybe she will going to be own person following Subaru guidance and one day she will going to return all the memories from her counter part.

My theory : what if Subaru is clone of flugel that he created to help him collect the witch factors and figure out how to save satella

0) louis cannot exit from od lagna nor take phisical form alone (otherwise she already tried it)
1) she wants to help people
2) affectionate to subaru
3) affectionate to rem since she is still somewhat sick
4) she doesnt talk (confirmed by julius that she doesnt)
5) through her others can use healing magic (rem couldnt because of the authority of glottony not even if she tried, like subaru with his whip)
6) get angry at people who wants to use violence
7) get scared in front of spirit eaters
8) can see through magic to turn invisible
9) can read minds since many times her reactions to people are mirroring subaru or rem istants before they react
10) beatrice does have many human processes going on inside her body including slight bleeding with little cuts (short stories confirmed), other spirits may work the same
11) puck does eat a lot because he likes it, other spirit may enjoy it without a special need to
12) healing magic cannot cure poison (stated by ferris)
13) noticed subaru was hurt and how precisely (poisoned), unlike rem who is smart and sharp and realized it later
14) showed dislike to violence

points against the theory:
1) some instances feels like rems with memory behaviour
2) she bleeds
3) she seemed scared fo subaru death
4) doesnt want to stay away from subaru (might be in fear)
5) might not have abilities if the other louis eat her memories
6) she seems hungry

Discarding Rem's name and memories, maybe this is the result of that. Maybe that is how Louis separates herself from those stolen pieces of Od.

Maybe she isn't a spirit but was used as a catalyst to emulate one into existence giving it healing powers by using the memories collected as fuel, applying her authority to do something useful

It was heavily implied when we first met Louis that she didn’t have a body, but obtaining a body and the perfect life was her objective. It wouldn’t surprise me if she made a body using the gluttony authority, similarly to how her brothers could perfectly replicate bodies.

I actually didn't think about Louis being the Green Room spirit. First I thought the spirit left because it felt Louis coming to the room but since Satella's shadows swallowed the whole room afterwards I assumed that the spirit left because it didn't want to be destroyed by Satella
