Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain - Big Bear, CA

One of our favorite places to visit in Big Bear is the Alpine Slide at Magic mountain. They have been delivering high-speed thrills since 1983 and are the only toboggan ride of its kind in California. And guess what? It is kid-friendly! So you can bring the whole family with you.

Circa 1983, I took a 977L CAT tractor and cut the bed and path for the tracks.

I live in the BB valley so doing things for visitors isn't really on my radar. But I did do this and it really is fun. A little longer and faster would be cool but this is a good spot to have some fun with the family.

The dude i was with actually fell off of the ride on one of the turns and skinned his knees cause he didnt slow down the whole ride
