2. Come incenso salga a te la mia preghiera, le mie mani alzate come sacrificio della sera.
1.Signore, a te grido, accorri in mio aiuto; ascolta la mia voce quando t'invoco.
3.Poni, Signore, una custodia alla mia bocca, sorveglia la porta delle mie labbra.
4.Non lasciare che il mio cuore si pieghi al male e compia azioni inique con i peccatori:

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties (Psalm 141).
