Who Could the Gloam Eyed Queen Be? - Elden Ring Lore Speculation
Показать описание
This is a topic I think is really neat in Elden Ring, but gets repeated dirtied by the same theories generated by the Frenzied Flame ending. We never see the creation of the shadows of an Empyrean, and assumed the rebirth of one who was flat out "defeated" instead without further context? As a lore hunter, this is red flag city. Enough to make Iosefka's imposter in Bloodborne jealous (People didn't realize it was someone different until seeing the credits in Bloodborne.). Overall, the scrutiny for a game like Elden Ring deserves shouldn't be kept so narrow sighted, especially with the lacking of evidence. This theory of Melina took off too hard and too fast for any take and was practically a first or second theory out of many worth investigating.
In this video I explain further gripes and details that can mean something drastically different, and yet back onto another familiar character. The overall complexity of details around subjects of Death in Elden Ring are outstandingly diverse, so even these are more topics for debate, but would make for pretty good story-telling.
Also, no. I won't be making any comparison theories on this as it's seemingly uncharted territory overall. I've looked and looked, and haven't made much too conclusive to back it into that direction, suggesting this is where it's truly an Elden Ring thing. Without any other notable details and events, it's virtually missing chapters and tales. Otherwise, Melina is dressed like Millicent, burned and bodiless, called the kindling maiden, and seemingly a ritualistic living sacrifice, living in the same image sort of mentality of others as tools like Marika did. A lot of things less uniformed to behavior was considered more savage and lacking in standards in her Order.
The only thing I can think of I didn't touch up on was GEQ being an "Empyrean", suggesting she would have been destined candidate for godhood. It's not understood if one must be related to Marika for this, or if their ties to their order is just effectively ripe and ready. One theory is that you must be female for this to happen, and that perhaps is where Rennala was considered tested and confirmed not a champion after all in abandonment by Radagon and the nature of the Envoys.
