MCPS Moment: Arvin Kim - SMOB Swearing In Ceremony

Arvin Kim, a rising senior at Walt Whitman High School, was sworn in as the 45th Student Member of the Board of Education (SMOB) July 8. Mr. Kim was elected to serve a one-year term on the Board by middle and high school students of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). He received 58.7 percent of the vote in the April 20, 2022, election.
