Based on the detail and description you show wherever you go, you should be sponsored by the countries you travel through. You are providing a great service, both to these countries and peoples and also to potential interested parties. You show us how things work out there. Impressive

was there with my daughter in January this year. Protests broke out. Wasnt fun, very sketchy! Machu Pichu was closed down three weeks prior and the protests started literally on our way out of Mach Pichu. Nice geographically, not my favorite country I have visited. But I am sure it is awesome when its normal.

I laughed so much about Mathilde's comment on the big rig. "always Germans". Apparently that's so true. We're Germans too, but we prefer our 2012 Landrover Defender 😊. Thanks for another great video!

Always fun to watch the scary driving. I can't believe that crazy German vehicle wouldn't have issues with height on that road. As much as I would like to see one of the wonders of the world it does turn me off to visit it too. I am sorry the weather didn't cooperate. I know what that feels like when you worked hard to climb a mountain and see nothing but clouds😊

That road!!! Not for the scared. Too bad you didn't get to see Machu Pichu without the clouds. It was still a great adventure. Thanks for filming it.

Travel is often about trade offs; yes, the weather wasn’t great at Machu Picchu but nevertheless still an astounding place rain or shine and Mathilde guiding us viewers was so charming! 😊
And, Nick got to do an awesome river crossing in Albo, some new Swiss friends were made, and the general awesomeness of the mountains and the crazy roads were all part of the adventure! 👍
Terrific episode guys!

@Mathilde, I enjoy your accent, and youthfulness … The Machu Pachu Foundation Stone Construction holds a much greater mystery 📚 🔐📚than your ‘tourist monologue’ 🖼️ hints at.
The opportunity just to tough those ‘stones’ …. Ahhh!!

👀👀👀🤔🤔🤔 👍🏻👍🏻😎

Your two Journey/Travels are Awe Inspiring. ❤❤❤

Hello guys I always watch your videos and they are amazing but I have to say my experience there was a lot different maybe because we had an Inca guide who not only told us the real history of Machupichu and the hidden Inca cosmology behind each building but also took care of all the tedious things like getting the tickets. Having a guide that is part of the culture rather than the commercial focused tourist guides makes 1000% difference not only for Machupichu but all the sacred Inca sites.

The same thing happened when I visited Meteora in Greece with a small group. The mist was so thick that Y that we couldn't see anything. There was an old Greek lady in the group who insisted that we had to go to a monastery that wasn't on the itinerary because she wanted to visit there before she died. As soon as the tour guide agreed that we would go all the must suddenly disappeared so we got to visit another monastery and enjoy the amazing view of Meteora.

The fog adds to its mystique. Love the drone footage of the drive up there.

That big Expedition truck put a nice smile on my face to travel the world in....😊 could I tow a Defender as my scout vehicle? 🤔 😮

Well, I guess it’s good to know that Machu Pichu is a generous contributor to the Peruvian economy. It is an amazing spot! Your journey to get there was astounding—those cliff-side roads and the drone coverage of your drive made me thankful to be watching it all on YouTube rather that sitting in the vehicle. Disappointing for you that the weather did not cooperate but your coverage of the site was super informative and very interesting. Thanks so much for the experience. Looking forward to the next instalment in your adventure.

Too bad you couldnt see the amazing views. I was there in 2010. We got up super early at 2am and hiked up to the top to see the sunrise over the Andes mountains. It was amazing place. When you got to the top the cold weather from the other side of the mountains changed very quickly.
