She is canonically the only doctor for the battleborn crew on their ship. So if anyone is injured in a way miko and the other healers cant fix, they have to deal with her.

If anyone is wondering why there are overwatch trolls constantly comparing the characters to overwatch, well here is why: Overwatch's characters are largely generic archetypes with very little originality put into them (save for zenyatta and maybe lucio) Due to Overwatch being the popular game it is thanks to blizzard knowing how to make an appealing money machine, people are using this chance to compare everything similar to something from overwatch just to get reactions out of people.
