Oakland County voters are being asked to vote on a 10-year transit millage which asks 0.95 mills per $1,000 in a home's taxable value. The millage is designed to expand bus service throughout the county, and it ends the community's ability to opt up. It is expected to generate $66 million in the first year.

I looked into WOTA and, it's almost a joke. You need to book it 48 hours in advance, it services a very small area, and it only operates until 4 PM and not at all on weekends. I'm glad this millage passed and am looking forward to seeing services expand. Hopefully it allows for more spontaneity because sometimes I would like to just check a schedule and go catch the next ride.

We need better mass transit for Oakland county gas, car insurance, car repairs, and auto repos are soaring out of control.

Say no to any taxes until the debt is paid off. Do not feed the beast

"When the price of fuel is going up" The fix is to vote out the dems that needlessly raised fuel costs and vote in republicans that will increase US production and stop begging dictators around the world to increase production.

Why do we need a Transit system when for the same price we can all be flying electric cars. We also won't have to build any more roads. Huge savings.

What we need is actually more traffic. More traffic brings more money, jobs and commerce. If you’re against more money than move to Venezuela.
