Thanks for this video. I am setting a virtual host on Windows 10, but the port 80 is occupied(by pre-installed Skype I guess). I changed apache's port to 8080. What kind of changes should I make in the httpd-vhosts.conf file then?

Could you help me please?... I have a project and followed your video, but when I open de browser and put "myproject.local" this doesn't work because it shows the XAMPP's Dashboard. I have follow this and others videos but nothing work for me. I know this video is from almost 4 years ago but I can't get help.

Hmm.... I did it like you instructed. But it isnt working.
When the Directory, as written insid ethe http-vhost-conf is inside the document root everything works fine.
But as long as it is outside the root it just isnt working at all.
