This helps me and it puzzles me. The help is for understanding the general procedure; that's just fine. The puzzle is using it.
First: MAMP refuses to set port :80. That is because the on board server of the iMAC uses that port. So stick with :3000 or use another port number, but NOT :80.
With these slight modifications it works fine. Thank's for taking the trouble to make this video!

Hi, might be this is a stupid question. But, i wanna know. Can someone from other country visit my website when I am using this virtual host? Or it's only for local computer only?

Thanks.

Hi - I cant figure out what the www/vhosts/ folder is - all the Apache/CentOS virtual hosts how-to vids ignore this folder. Thanks :)

thanks for the server stuff Steve; I'm assuming this will allow me to have these different files at the same root level in my text editor where files are stored in htdocs? I've not been able to get ATOM live server working from that location, so if I create a new let's call it domain on my desktop I'm assuming perhaps live server will work--thoughts, please?
