I always ask people if they would feed their kids with dirty dishes. When they say no, I tell them that these tools are how I feed my family. If you don't clean them when you're done you won't ever use them again.

I agree 100% with Clay. I also clean my tools before they go back in my box. No need for a person's toolbox to look like a mess. Takes a couple of seconds to clean the tools.

There isn't much worse, than grabbing a tool out of a toolbox that already has grease on it. Tools is a big investment and I try my best to keep them clean and protected

I am sitting laughing as I watch this today. Most of my cordless tools are Milwaukee and those are expensive enough. Anyways my wife asked to borrow my drill today, she was doing some yard work. I just happen to walk into the front yard and I see my wife looking at my drill and then at a nail. She just started to lift the drill up and I yelled don't even think about it. I told her where my hammers were.

Talk about Picky I also have a long head ratchet and if I’m gonna put it in a real tight spaces or it might get banged around and scratched I wrapped the head of it in COFLEX it keeps it clean and stop it from getting scratched up, and you can keep reusing it it sticks to itself🇺🇸

I'm with you on keeping the tools clean. I even have a 10w30 dampened rag in a zip lock that i wipe down my impact sockets with after use.
My tools are much cleaner than my truck. That tells me i'm not a complete compulsive nut job.
