Glad to see there's finally an FPS that stresses Teamwork. I just wish developers could've done this before a needed cap of 256 players. I'll be excited for this game come time of getting a ps3 sometime next year

Used to be one of the top players in MAG before all the new changes :( I miss how it used to be really, stopped playing because of them and the inactivity. But if suddenly thousands of people picked the game back up again I sure as hell will be there as this is one of the greatest games i've ever played.

@aapinator Plus... this game is 100% online. There are no practice levels, private matches, dead areas, or offline campaigns, so all the footage you see is literally live and in-game action. There's nothing quite like charging a bunker with your squad and merging up with another flanking squad. This game promotes teamwork unlike anyother first-person shooter I've ever seen and you truly feel the global presense of those around you.

IGN doesn't actually compare games to COD... at all. The problem with the is that they don't put enough detail into playing the game before reviewing them.

If you get this game there are 3 things you need to know.
1. Get a microphone. It is essential for teamwork and can make the game ALOT more fun.
2. Get in a clan. Playing with the same people over and over play's off #1 and makes tactics easier to complete.
3.Get a MedKit. This might not make sense now but it will. It's at the bottom of the skill tree and make leveling quicker. Plus other people will like you for it.
You follow these 3 points and MAG will become the best FPS for the PS3.

i have a doubt...i dunno what game to buy, this or battlefield 2, how many veicles mag has? i wanna know that, does this has helipopters, jeeps or somethin like that? does this has destructible emviroment? like battleifeld 2?

I have been playing this game for a while on raven and I noticed it takes a really long time (up to 6 minutes) to get into a game. This game is awesome and fun once you get in (of course nobody really stays together like they should) but I was wondering do others have the problem of not as many people online and also which team is the best teamwork or do they all suck?

@aapinator First off... you not only roll in a squad of 8 members, you'll often respawn at a specific and strategic spawn point every 20 seconds. So... it's not uncommon to come piling out of a spawn point 8 to 16 players deep and begin attacking as a unit. Plus... MAG features numerous levels of fighting including everything from trenches, multi-story buildings, platforms, towers, etc... so what you call shooting into the air is likely a battle working it's way uphill.

@n00binat0r123 It really depends. A lot of people don't like it due to the fact that it actually takes skill, teamwork, and smarts. If actually having to AIM at your targets(no aim assist, 2 bullets in the foot won't get a kill, if your target is at a long distance you have to lead them with bullets etc.), budgeting skill points (you can't unlock all weapons and skills), not being able to spawn right where you died and like things don't float your boat, go for something more newb friendly.
