Unlike the old school bikes, in 10 years none of these bikes will be on the road. The computer stuff will not work, it will be expensive to replace it for the average guy.

BMW absolutely rammed on the Monday morning but still got to try one or two on my ‘next bike’ / ‘in your dreams mate’ list - with one or two surprises eg RT bars seemed surprisingly narrow, and the NineT felt very perched-forward - nothing a test ride wouldn’t put to bed, I’m sure, great looking bikes. I didn’t think I’d like the R18, I find cruisers too low for my liking, but wow, awesomely comfy place to be, I could have sat there all day! 👌

I don't see why people buy new bikes anymore unless you're a newbie... we've had great FI reliable 160 HP+ bikes for 10 years now with great electronics. I'd rather buy an older bike and spend the extra money on making it my own custom extreme version of that bike. Unless you need to race on the track.

I have to say that the originality and styling differences of the major motorcycle manufacturers h a s virtually completely disappeared!- I seriously cannot tell the difference between a modern sport bike from BMW Triumph Ducati Suzuki Honda or Kawasaki I absolutely cannot tell the difference between any of them! But I could take you back to the 1970s and 1980s where BMW Ducati Triumph Norton and the Japanese brands were recognizable as soon soon as you can see them from a distance- a Ducati Super Sport was so totally different from a Triumph Bonneville from a Norton Commando and from a BMW r1000 that anyone could tell the difference between them but not now no one can tell the difference between them!

Couldn't help but comment on the triple black paint job on the R 1250 R that says that very thing ... in BIG LETTERS, for those who maybe, what, could figure it out or forgot what they bought?! Embarrassing. Specially for the bike that is the most useful for daily riding. Thanks for the report, MB.

BMW is not known for making competition winning bikes like Hondas and Yamahas. When it comes to performance bikes, choosing a bimmer is a wrong move

The new BMW horsepower and aerodynamics is sure impressive. I went 315 kph on a 2013 Zx1400R with a slip on and some duct tape for $7000 and that was around 6000 feet above sea level...on the wind. It was in a straight line though.😄😄😄

im guessing for the next M1000RR 2024, how big is the winglet goes after this😂😂 I do love this 2023 but the winglet to big.. is it easy to pass through in between car if theres a huge traffic 😂😂
