I remember when I saw the trailer for this for the first time and I was SHIT!

I like how Spielberg gets all of the credit for Kubrick's genius.

I was TRYING TO WATCH THIS MOVIE then this scene came up. Dr. Allan Hobby (William Hurt) saying to the philosopher who has raised the point of what we might owe to a robot who had been programmed to love us: "In the beginning, didn’t God create Adam to love him?"

But real Artificial Intelligence (AI) will ALWAYS have ONE SIMPLE FLAW given by the LORD Common Sense in the form of FREE WILL because the LORD never ordered ADAM to LOVE it was a CHOICE. And you know it would be a dangerous and disastrous mistake to give Artificial Intelligence free will.
