You should do a segment on not letting your elderly relatives go to the dealer alone. My sick Aunt is paying 417 a month on a 2020 Base Elantra .All in for 22300.Nothing down. And it’s a 4 year lease??.We thought she purchased the car.Total lease payments come out to 20, 016 dollars with a 15, 800 buyback. We called the dealership and they immediately said “Are you accusing us of fraud” and hung up on us.If she doesn’t get better she still has 16 months left. They saw here coming .86 years old

One of our best high-end 2nd Tier dealers in an upscale tech business area went belly up selling used Maseratis. You are spot on.

Prices aren't dropping where I live, if anything they're still going up. I don't see myself ever buying a new or used car anytime soon.

E-Pace is NOT Jags EV. The I-Pace is their EV. The E-Pace is an ICE vehicle.

IMO unless you are a cash buyer, the used car market has already seen a 15% decrease. The old saying, once people are announcing a price drop we are already coming out of it. We know that the fed is planning increases to the interest rate in 2023 and we can almost be certain that those higher rates will sustain for at least 1 after that. So, I think there is a small window here in the first quarter of 2023 to buy a used car if you are financing and you expect that you will need to replace your car in lets say the next 18 months. Plus, not everyone has caught on to the Used EV tax credit that went into effect 1/1/23. You can get 4, 000 on a purchase of a used plug in hybrid. It needs to be purchased from a dealership for under 25, 000 and there are other qualifications that you need do your homework on, but you can get a heck of a deal on something like a 2020 Ford Fusion Energi for around 23, 000 minus the 4, 000 tax credit. I’ve been following the Ford Fusion Energi in my area and have personally seen them getting snapped up quickly as people realize they can essentially get 4, 000 back. All of the information about the used EV tax credit can be found on the IRS website. Of course I’m not a financial advisor, but just a long time follower of this channel. Good Luck!

In Canada a dealer is trying to sell a 2020 Chevrolet Trax for $30, 000.00. A Chevrolet TRAX. Insane.

I prefer watching you two side by side over swapping backgrounds. You seem more relaxed next to each other. Luv watching

I haven't read through all the comments, so perhaps this has been asked/mentioned. If already asked, my apologies for the repeat. What part of these price drops can be attributed to the fact that its the turn of a new year vs. the market in general simply correcting?

I can't hear enough of calling out the stupidity from those who chose to overpay for vehicles.

I've had my eye on some C5 ZO6's for a while now and seeing dealers cutting them $3-6k down to reality is so, so good.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated, I've seen some price drops but nothing crazy yet. Starting to consider shopping outside of my city to get a better deal

I have seen a lot of movement in the right direction on used car prices but honestly I'm still not there yet. Once make model and trim that I'm looking at while it has dropped on aver about $3, 500 in price it's still at its original MSRP from two years ago. I'm still going to wait about 5 or 6 months if not until next year if I have to because I refuse to overpay.

Boo on the SQ5 negativity - what other performance SUV is out there for that price ? BMWs offering is more $$ as is Mercedes
