That blue. Gorgeous. Well on its way to a spacey / galaxy theme. If you take commissions, I’d love a mug and a pencil cup (short vase, maybe?) for work. I’m a teacher and these would make a wonderful addition to my room. :)

One of my favorite things about pottery is how unexpectedly dangerous it can be. Breathing in pottery dust isn't great long term, the kiln gets hot enough to cremate a body, and most of the best glazes have highly toxic ingredients (some are genuinely radioactive).

I don't know if you've read the Eragon series, or seen the wreck of a movie (standalone it's okay, but when you've read the source material..), but that blue at the start would be perfect for making a replica of Saphira's egg.
