Floyd is so intelligent pure boxer don't forget he didn't get 26 knockouts for no reason. Mayweather will pick marcos apart i see angles speed, and timing. Knowing when to hold and when to punch and use footwork on the outside. Maidana has a chance to hrut him tho. marcos is smart too he knows angles and timing. OVER HAND RIGHT!

minus the layoffs and now Floyd being a ppv fighter(it takes time to build up ppvs) Floyd could be 50 somthin and 0 by now had he been more active lol  he is great and like he said he wont get his true props til hes long gone just like many others in history

Speed is important element of timing. If you're slow, the opponent will get the timing.

yes you have to time your speed ofcouse. but it is easyer to hit and time your punches when you have speed. that could be a reasen why amir was wrecless. so i thinking both aspect are important, but en general i would say that speed kills, and makes ot easier to take chances and time your punches in my opinion.

I have great respect for Floyd as a fighter but he is not being totally truthful with the interviewer he knows it takes a certain level of speed to time the speedy fighter but he is not disclosing this fact to the interviewer I my self fought amateur during the same PEROID he fought amateur 1990 -1996 Think about it do you really think a slow fighter will be fast enough to time the speedy. In other words as you time your opponent You have only SECONDS to take advantage of opportunity Which has been created by timing of your opponent.

If Khan had beaten Alexander he would had got the mayweather fight. Khan can beat Collazo who is old but it dont put him in line. Maidana is too small and too slow for Mayweather....I guess that's why he hand selected him instead of fighting the faster Kahn. He definitely won't fight the Pacquiao who has quick hands and great timing.
