Last summer I went with my friend @JoeRies down to Tumwater, Washington to check out the old Olympia Brewery!

Disclaimer: Pinetop Jackson does not break into buildings.
Every location I document is open with no sings warning against trespassing present at the time of visit. I do not vandalize. While I do respect the graffiti I encounter, I do not practice this art.
My goal and my intent is to document these historically significant locations for posterity, and I enter them with respect.
I take nothing but photos (and video!) and leave nothing but footprints.

So cool to look at ! But at the same time very sad ! My favorite beer growing up in New Jersey!! Was not easy to find ! My older brother was a trucker that went out to the west coast he would bring back cases of it. Very light tasting beer ! Yes it was the water..

Damn, could have helped you out if I knew you were making this. Growing up we use to jump off the bridge into the falls and come up in the cave behind it and hang out. When the brewery was still running it was quite the place, especially when the Schmidt family still owned it. It's really sad to see the mess it has become... A scam artist bought it from Miller with the stated intention of making it a water bottling facility and instead stripped it of everything of value, skipped without paying many of the contractors and or his backers and left this useless shell. There is really nothing that can be done short of leveling the entire facility and building new but the impact statements, permitting and cost associated make that unrealistic. So all we have are memories of a better time...
