The Bottle Gil Scott Heron Bass Cover Request

Hello :)

This is the requested transcription I've done of the Gil Scott Heron song "The Bottle" from his 1974 album - "Winter in America". Danny Bowens was the bass player on this track.

This one was a bit of a handful and took me around 19 hours to complete. There are some excellent rhythms here and makes for a really good "funk study" on the bass.

I was driving early this morning and this song came on. I’ve heard Gil Scott before, but I’ve never heard this tune. I play bass, and the bass line’s what caught my ear. So I came here on YT for a bass cover. You did a fine job. Thanks for the tabs also.
