Well, that actually seems really useful considering how many options there are to change graphics in modern games.

This is great. It would be amazing if NVIDIA made some kind of feature in this software that would utilize AI to analyze image quality and clarity. For example it would analyze temporal stability, artifacts, ghosting of TAA/DLSS/FSR/XeSS and frame pacing/delivery. Then it would output a log or some kind of a report (or even better highlighted the most relevant areas of the footage).

the challenge of this, is getting the exact same composition given the dynamic nature of video games. Ideally, there would be an API exposed for time of day, and a myriad of other functions so all of this image quality testing could be easily automated

Well I hope there are more features because as it stands it’s just a synchronised media player. All the actual analysis is performed by the Mk 1 eyeball.

The tool is great but is very buggy the latest version is extremely slow and videos stutter too much, any way to improve this? I have a 4090 and a 7950x3d cpu

Ok but this is huge, this can be a great tool for helping people dial in the best “bang for buck” bitrate for recording or streaming

But when you're using 2 different size/res images/videos, it doesn't sync the scale, so the comparison features essentially can't be used.
