Have always thought part of hpls genius was to tap into an obvious idea....would true ancient aliens beings abilities and technology look like a little grey creature flying along in an obviously mechanical machine? Pressing buttons? Even "plugged in" with something on its head? - don't think it all be indistinguishable from magic??
