Nobody needs to get up to 60mph as quick as possible. NOBODY. You set off, accelerate normally change gear and get up to speed that way. Any other way is pointless in normal day to day driving. Why is YT filled with 0-60 videos when in reality nobody thinks of that when driving normally ? Redlining the engine, what a waste of fuel and it also doesn't get you to your destination any quicker. Ive seen cars do that at lights, fly off like there is no tomorrow then catch them up at the next set which is on red, which means the fast acceleration made no difference whatsoever on that stretch of road. Every road has other traffic, junctions and traffic lights. You get there when you get there. I wish drivers would learn this.
