The fact that police don't want to be recorded is the exact reason they they NEED to be recorded.

If they treat a 79 years old REPRESENTATIVE with such hostility, you can figure how they're treat "regular" people

Only a cop would think that someone exercising their first amendment right would be "provoking" them.

Calling a man that lived through Jim Crow a “race baiter” is mind numbingly stupid.

How dare that officer call him a race baiter when the cop is the one arguing with him. The man isn’t breaking the law, leave him alone.

“You’re just trying to catch us doing something wrong”. Well that wasn’t hard!

Cops had no reason to engage with this person.

“You’re out here provoking police officers”, “how am I provoking you?”, “you’re filming us”. If police officers are “provoked” by being filmed, they should not be police officers

Gonna arrest a state lawmaker, for filming police officers, who co-sponsored the bill that explicitly states it is legal to film police officers -- that's a whole new level of "dumb cops". 🤣

Cops still being mad about (and arresting) someone filming from a public space should be a fireable offense at this point!

That's a man who had seen a ton in his life and knows that you need to be willing to face unjust punishment when it comes to defending rights

These cops prove exactly why police NEED to be filmed.

a white cop telling a 79 year old black man in Arkansas to walk a mile his shoes and to see how difficult it is to be a cop.

Bald cop was 10000% the instigator. From the very second he waddled up. Other cop would have likely caused no issues on his own.

Old man went to his grave knowing that there is still injustice in the USA....How terribly sad

"You have every right to do what you're doing which is why I'm going to arrest you for it."

As someone who doesn’t trust our government at all, it’s a breath of fresh air to see a state representative exercising his right and looking out for the well being of others.

That bald, white cop wanted to arrest him from the very start. The fact that he's still employed is abominable.
