It's sad how you portrayed Justinian after the death of Theodora; Broken, crying, with no friends, trying to rebuild a crumbling empire with no hope in site and rebuilding the empire from near destruction, a truly sad end to one of history's greatest leader and my personal favourite emperor.😭😭

I wonder watching these series what some of the people covered would think of eachother? What ould Justinian think of Suleiman, theodora of Roxalonna, Bellisarias of Ibrahim?

What would Admiral Yi really think of Oda Nobunaga, of Sulieman, Of Hannible?

What would Oda Nobunaga of thought of men like Simon Bolivair, of Shaka Zulu, of Justinian and the Martial lord of loyalty?

It's such an interesting thing, to find such outstanding figures in history, and wonder, what would they of thought of eachother.

Is it just me, or could a great few movies, like LOTR class style movies of history, intrigue and warfare be done for this man and Belasarrius? This story has been amazing and I learned a fair bit, though someone needs to get this man's story to a wider audience. This man was a leader, and his legacy brought great stories of all kinds.

This song has inspired me to write a sort of folk tale:


This story takes place in a land of exceptional wealth and beauty, but even with all that wealth the people lived in fear as villages fight desparately to steal whatever they could, their mouths foaming at the prospect of more power. But amongst these was a small village in a basin surrounded by massive hills, a place where the people lived without fear and where our mian character lived all the same...

All until it came crashing down.

One day in the midst of the night a band of marauders passed the hills and began sacking the village, the boy ran desperately as everyone he knew and held dear were slaughtered like cattle.

Years passed and the boy reached a land where the people lived in poverty, but to his surprise these people didn't fight amongst themselves, instead they worked together so they could all survive in peace. From the moment he entered a nearby village, he knew that this land would be his new home. But even so he knew he had to tell his story, for one day this land may end up just like his home.

He told of his home and its immense riches, he told of the violence and hatred that reigned, but most of all he taught them that while the world around them may be full of beauty and life, one must also remember that the world is filled just as much with hardship and pestilence, and that one must honor them both for failing to do so will make one lose sight of who they are in this world.
